The Brother 1034D Serger features a 3/4 lay-in thread system with lower looper threader. Stitch options include 4 thread overlock, 3 thread overlock, narrow hem, rolled hem, and ribbon lock stitches. Additionally you can sew blind hem, pin tuck and flat lock stitches by purchasing optional presser feet. The machine has a free arm/flat bed convertible sewing surface. The 1034D also offers a F.A.S.T. lower looper threading system for easy thread changes. The differential feed improves sewing results on stretch or thin fabrics to give you a perfect finish. Snap-on presser feet allow quick and easy changes to transition to each desired stitch. The 1034D also includes an instructional video tape to make serging fast easy and fun.

Brother's new XL2600i is a 25 stitch free arm sewing machine with multiple stitch functions. Easy to use, the XL2600i features an automatic needle threader, built in thread cutter and drop-in bobbin system. This sewing machine also has a built in one-step automatic buttonholer with a stitch balance control for perfect buttonholes every time. The stitches include built-in stretch, blind hem and decorative stitches as well as basic stitches for garment construction, quilting and embellishment. The XL2600i also has adjustable width and length as well as a dial thread tension control to give you more sewing flexibility. Brother's XL2600i has a convertible sewing surface from flatbed to free arm so that you can easily sew on hems or cuffs as well as larger items. Shooting a simple match (3 stages) IDPA style in total darkness. I was using my Kimber TLE / RL II with a Surefire x300 mounted on the rails. Make it easier to shoot without holding a light on the other hand. Lots of fun!! I have to do this again.
